Currently living in Mexico City, Almodóvar started his musical journey as a kid playing violin but it wasn't until later in his life while living in Tulum that he started DJing - having played multiple times at Gitano, a staple of the vibrant Mexican beach town. Following his passion for electronic music he made his way to Chicago, the birthplace of House music, where would further develop his own sound and start organizing events across the city under the collective “Trifecta Records”. Soon Almodóvar became a regular act across the hottest venues in Chicago such as the legendary Spybar opening for international djs such as DJ Chus, Oscar L, and Tony Guerra to name a few while also recently playing a festival with over 700 people.
