With a background in sound design, starting at the age of 14, aka.alkemist began exploring the depths of frequency application into a wide variety of genres. The obsession of sound design led to a firm introduction into the UK rap scene, specializing in genres of grime, drill, and super trap. Over the years, aka.alkemist expanded his interests to the psychology of sound and audio engineering. In his sets, aka.alkemist attempts to align low-end properties in a collision of rhythm, with styles in bass music, electro, deconstructed techno, and dub. In his personal production endeavors, aka.alkemist attempts to merge sonic patterns of the underground sound into both mainstream production involving artists and club tracks designed to bring life to his sets.
