Alex performed and produced under the artist name “SpinnZinn” until 2019. His live performances have been packing sweaty dance floors across Europe and North America, in techno-loving cities like Berlin, Frankfurt, Ibiza, New York, Miami and more. Blurring the lines between deejaying and live production, Alex takes the crowd on quite the adventure. Techno laced with elements of trance, his ability to take you on a journey through sound is exquisite. He is a master at moving dancers with driving beats and titillating melodic arpeggios, highlighted with tantalising placement of percussive sounds. The unstoppable flow of energy is insatiable, leaving fans craving more every time. Miami-born Alexander Zinn is a DJ, producer, and Audio Engineer based in Berlin. He is the Product Manager for Richie Hawtin’s PLAYdifferently MODEL1 mixer. Alex is a co-founder of his record label, TYP3 Records, established in 2013. Performing at Ultra Music Festival for the first time in 2010, he annually co-hosts the UMF Radio live broadcast simulcasted in over 80 countries and 150 territories. In 2019 he performed at the Resistance PLAYdifferently stage at Ultra, and the Enter. Sake event during Miami Music Week. Alex headlined the Trade DJ stage at A Summer Story festival in Madrid, and did a tour of Saudi Arabia with Quantum Leap, an event series held to bring German techno culture to the citizens of Saudi Arabia.
