Alejandro Soria is a dynamic DJ and producer from Quito, Ecuador, who at just 24 years old has rapidly solidified his position in the global electronic music scene. Rooted in a rich musical heritage spanning rock, punk, blues, funk, jazz, and symphonic influences passed down from his family, Alejandro has crafted a distinctive minimal and tech house sound characterized by hypnotic grooves and emotional depth.
Starting his DJ career at 17, Alejandro quickly made waves locally and soon joined “The Trouble Makers” collective, honing his craft within Ecuador’s underground circuit. His passion for innovation and community building led him to co-found the Azimute Collective in 2019, a platform dedicated to avant-garde dance music and curating influential acts from across the world.
**Between 2018 and the post-pandemic era, Alejandro held a residency at Lost Beach Club—ranked among the world’s top clubs—sharing the stage with iconic electronic artists like Nina Kraviz, Raresh, Archie Hamilton, wAFF, and Green Velvet. He has completed over 10 international tours through key Latin American markets such as Colombia, Peru, and Chile, and has performed alongside respected names like Yaya Tamango, showcasing his growing influence and versatility
Alejandro’s technical prowess allows him to excel both in solo performances and B2B sets with global talents such as Technasia, Nu Zau, wAFF, and Detlef, emphasizing his ability to connect and innovate in live collaborations. Beyond the decks, he is deeply committed to nurturing his local community, directing a music, DJ, and production academy within an educational cultural foundation, and running Modular Label, his own record label aimed at supporting emerging artists and pushing the boundaries of electronic music
With a discography featuring releases on respected labels like WAPM, Kush\:Me, Tactil, and Strange Stories, Alejandro’s music circulates on key platforms including Juno Download, Beatsource, and Bandcamp.
