Alejandro Asencio has been a regular fixture in London and Barcelona's party networks since the early 2000s. After completing a Music Culture degree, he landed a job at Azuli Records and has since selected for many well established London parties and clubs, as well as running his own radio show (Luna 42) and club brands (Lady Ole). In London, he is a member of the audiophile collective Lucky Cloud Sound System, behind London’s Lucky Cloud Loft party, and runs Lady Olé (FKA Pelucas y Tacones) an award-winning, international pop night based in London since 2005 and serving Spanish-speaking queer communities abroad. In Barcelona, he produces, hosts and programes at Churros con Chocolate, Barcelona's largest LGBTQI party held bi-weekly at Apolo. With regular DJ spots in the LGBTQ scene, he also runs the audiophile listening sessions 'Classic Album Sundays Barcelona'; in 2019 he co-founded Barcelona´s audiophile party and sound system 'Cloud 9'.
