Born in 2002 in the prefecture of Shiga, Japan, Ai has been influenced by Berlin techno music and uk dance music. While facing the COVID pandemic in 2019, he and his friends decided to open a DJ label. After a year of arrangements, organization and practice, Ensite Tokyo was founded. Ai’s passion for music and techno moved him all the way to Europe, visiting Berghain, Tresor and other clubs, changing his perspective about music. He has played in emblematic places all over the world, principally in Kyoto, Tokyo and London. Some venues are Womb, Space, Vent, Traffic, Music Bar Lion, and Circus. As the creator of Ensite, he's invited different DJs such as Estella Boersma, FJAAK, Bours, Mall Grab, and Pawlosky. He is currently collaborating with BCCO Berlin. He's usually playing in Womb's lounge, in the heart of Tokyo: Shibuya, and is in a constant search of music. Composing, understanding and bringing together music and organizing events so that Japan can immerse itself into Techno's culture and lifestyle are one of Ai's main objectives.
