Afrocat is a DJ/Selector, Radio Host, Music & Culture Curator, Producer, Activist & Entrepreneur. She has an intergalactic career, spinning since ‘99. Performed in the UK, USA, Brasil, Ghana, Ethiopia, India, Spain, Dubai, Portugal, Italy & Austria, from an impressively eclectic collection, with a particular focus on 70’s styles, production and vibes - with a shot of Studio54. She is a connoisseur of heavy basslines and badass beats, and truly delights in sharing only the finest international sounds including deep funk, dancefloor jazz, vintage reggae, dub, highlife, disco, blues, Afro-Latino rhythms, 70’s soundtracks, psychedelic grooves, originals and obscura.
