Though a relative newcomer to the Amsterdam scene, ADHDJ has already managed to establish himself as a staple of the city’s techno underground. Ever a champion of the analogue modes of mixing, ADHDJ taught himself to mix on CDs before making the transition to vinyl, which has since stuck with him. “Hard and happy” best describes his musical philosophy, which sees a high octane fusion of techno, tekno, acid and hard dance come together in sets that can go on from late night till late morning. Those in the know will have heard of, or attended, his illegal party series in ACTA, infamous despite a short life span for its dedication to hedonism, hard techno and quality of sound.
