It was while he was living in London that his passion for techno music was born, at a Blueprint label party in 2012. Like hypnotized, he instantly understood that it was only the beginning of this fascination that has driven him ever since. Now based in Paris, Ad Astra has developed an obsession with playing and producing hypnotic, abstract, experimental techno, sometimes stubborn, often captivating. With several releases to his credit on numerous labels, and more recently on Animal Farm, adding a 4-track EP of uncompromising bangers to his catalog. He has established his brand in the Paris techno scene and joined the artist agency Harbor Concept, starting a residency for the Queer 'Monarch' parties. He has had the opportunity to play alongside artists such as Alarico, Kwartz, Lars Huissmann, Rove Ranger, Pfirter, Dimi Angelis, Zadig, among others, for collectives such as Mess, Vertigo, Rorshar, as well as more recently for the Prima Materia collective, which he founded in January 2022 with his partner Dictent Vroom, with the aim of bringing a change to what the majority of the Parisian scene has recently been offering. Determined to offer an innovative sound experience with each set, he constantly updates his music selection, oscillating between the new and the old, in search of the perfect balance.
