2step.png is a Dublin-based designer turned bass music DJ, whose sound was shaped by late nights in the Choki Biki Records factory, where the dark tones of UKG, breaks, and jungle molded his musical identity. Since stepping behind the decks in early 2021, 2step.png has quickly made a name for himself, supporting acts like Borai, Mixtress, Tãn, Prozak, and Soul Mass Transit System. Known for his genre-blending sets, he takes listeners on a journey through early UKG, Baile Funk, and jungle, delivering a high-energy mix of breakbeats, grime vocals and deep-wubby basslines. 2step.png has performed at many of Dublin’s most iconic venues, such as WigWam, Tengu, Bow Lane, and Racket Space, and has also made his mark at Kable Club in Manchester, The Crown in Bristol, and Macalla Festival, and Fuinneamh Festival. Outside of shows, 2step.png co-hosts a show on Dublin Digital Radio and one on Subtle Radio, championing Irish talent within the bass music community. More recently, he cofounded Dublin’s newest bass collective, AMPM, with the goal of running workshops, nights, and pop-up events, to further the bass music scene in Ireland.
